Testimonials

“I was Sara’s direct supervisor at my previous company, OutboundEngine for 2 years. She worked on numerous projects of complex technical nature during her tenure with me and helped the company solve a variety of business problems, increase operational efficiencies, and use their technical tools in successful ways.”

Claire Morris Dunham, SVP, Operations & Strategy at PLACE

“Sara was instrumental to our team’s proficiency with Salesforce. Her technical knowledge and willingness to teach the team allowed us to develop very complex and efficient automation processes for our company. Without her deep understanding of SF, we would still be relying heavily on manual workflows. It was an absolute privilege to work with Sara and I know that she will be a massive asset to any organization that she joins.”

Nathan Bruning, GTM Engineer at Handoff

“I worked with Sara for several years at Sparefoot. Sara has a knack for understanding the business and delivering what her users need — even in the face of conflicting requirements. She is very strong at designing and implementing technical solutions, particularly in Salesforce. Sara has an amazing ability to balance the needs of a diverse constituency and to build systems that are useful for all.

Sara is always up for a challenge, and takes the initiative to research, plan, and then execute. It was a joy working with Sara!”

Q & A

When do you feel most energized in your work and what does that say about your leadership style?

I feel most energized when I’m solving complex business challenges that require bringing people, processes, and technology together. Whether I’m partnering with executives on strategy or helping a team streamline how they work, I enjoy turning complexity into clarity. My leadership style is collaborative, hands-on, and centered on helping others succeed.

What originally inspired your leadership journey, and how has your perspective evolved as you’ve risen into more senior roles?

I never set out to become a leader—I simply found myself gravitating toward helping teams solve problems and work more effectively together. Over time, I realized leadership isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about creating an environment where people can do their best work, make smart decisions, and continuously improve.

What is a high-stakes challenge you faced as a leader, how did you approach it, and what did you learn?

One of the most challenging parts of leadership wasn’t a technical problem—it was helping people navigate change. Whether we were introducing new processes or asking teams to work differently, I learned that people are much more likely to embrace change when they understand the “why” behind it. That experience reinforced the importance of transparency, empathy, and consistent communication.

What principles or values consistently guide your decisions across teams, companies, or initiatives?

Integrity, curiosity, and empathy are at the center of every decision I make. I believe in listening first, letting data inform decisions, and building solutions that genuinely make people’s jobs easier. Strong relationships and transparency create better outcomes than hierarchy ever will.

If you could be remembered for one defining impact you’ve made on people, organizations, or culture, what would it be and why?

I’d like to be remembered as someone who could untangle messy problems without making them feel overwhelmed. I love figuring out how things can work better—whether that’s a process, a Salesforce org, or the way a team collaborates. If people walked away thinking, “She made my job easier,” I’d be proud of that.
